Big Cottonwood Canyon 7/15/14

We had a blast with family up at Doug’s cabin.  The weather was gorgeous and being in the mountains was heavenly!

         

Driving to Utah 7/11/14

We decided to drive home to Utah for the first time ever.  It was the longest drive of our lives but I have to say our kids did way better than I thought they would!  Poor Jane was still a little under the weather still recovering from her kidney infection but she was still amazing!  The boys watched movies and played ipad the entire ride and were so excited they didn’t even fight.  We were able to crank most of the drive out the first day, arriving in New Mexico at 1 am.  We stayed the night in the hotel and then drove the rest of the way the next day.  We didn’t make too many exciting/non essential stops because we just wanted to get there fast.  But we did stop at “hole in the rock” in Utah which the boys thought was cool.

   

 

Sickest little Sicky 7/9/14

This sweet girl has been the healthiest out of all my babies.  No ear infections or colds so far in her little life.  However, she broke that streak by getting the most horrible kidney infection.  This poor baby was so sick she had a high fever of 104 and vomiting.  Because the UTI had gotten into her kidneys we had to go get antibiotic shots everyday for 3 days, followed by regular antibiotics.  It broke my heart how sick she was.  Her big brothers sure took good care of her though.  Kyler kept tucking her in with his brown blankie, and both boys gave her tons of snuggles and kisses. 

   

Silly Baby 7/2/2014

I was having a hard time getting Jane to take a nap that day.  For some reason she just stayed up talking and playing with her stuffed kitty cat.  All of a sudden I looked on the monitor to find her asleep sitting up.  Silly baby.
