Our Little Caramel Thief

Every Christmas Jeremy makes caramels, his family recipe.  We love them and so do our neighbors who seem to look forward to them every year.  Well, one day I found that Kyler had used a chair, climbed on the table, and gnawed through half a caramel including the wrapper.  So naturally I grabbed the camera.  When he realized I had caught him he yelled out “CHEESE!”  So I laughed, took a few pictures, then had to take the caramel away.  He was devastated, but I had to!  Those things would be way too easy for him to choke on.  But boy did he love eating it!

Silly boy.  Love that cheeser grin

Mmmm Sugar Cookies

Can I just say I have a crazy addiction to sugar cookies at Christmas time?  And when I say addicted, I mean that when I make them, I have one for breakfast with a diet dr. pepper every morning for like a week.  Should I be admitting that?  Well, that has apparently rubbed off on my boys because they too loved decorating and eating them.  But don’t worry, I didn’t give them any for breakfast.  Mom of the year, I know.

Another Sunday after church. Silly little boys.

Max was in his usual ornery after church mood and refused to pose for any pictures.  But Kyler was being so cute and silly I had to get some pictures.

White Chocolate Oreos

Every year I look forward to finding these white chocolate Oreo's in the grocery store at Christmas time.  This year the boys fell in love with them too.  Even caught them trying to sneak some a few times.

Up Goes the Christmas tree

Like 2 months ago.  I know, I am way behind.  Get ready for a lot of December posts and pictures!  I officially now have 2 Christmas trees in my home.  I’m a little obsessed with Christmas.  If I had it my way (and some day I will), I would have a Christmas tree in every room in the house.  First, we have my “pretty” tree.  It’s red and lime green, with accents of white.  We also have the “kid'” tree which is filled with randomness… the little boys ornaments they have received each year, bright colored bulbs, and random ornaments that Jeremy has been given over the years… Santa playing soccer, Santa skiing, etc…. you see why I have 2 trees.  But I really do love this little random tree.  It’s fun to see all the ornaments, and it also has a few from my childhood as well.  Now this tree is only half decorated because the boys couldn’t help from playing with all the ornaments, and breaking a few.  So now the bottom half is bare.  Love both of our trees and I’m so sad to take them down in a few days.  As you can see, the boys had fun playing in the tree boxes.

After Church One Day

I always seem to want to take pictures of my handsome boys when we get home from church.  And it almost never goes smoothly.  But this time Max cooperated.
