The park. Oh how I love taking my boys to the park. I love watching their little faces light up when we turn the corner to the park. I love watching them become sweaty, stinky, muddy little boys as they run around in pure enjoyment. Every. Single. Time.

My Future Missionary
The other day at Sams Club Max (sitting in the shopping cart with Kyler) out of nowhere started belting out the primary song “I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of La-tter Day Saints…”. I didn’t even know he new that song! If we had been in Utah I’m sure people wouldn’t have thought anything of it. BUT we are in Houston. And so I got a few weird looks. But I thought it was dang funny. His first little missionary moment.
Also, I am loving how much Max is talking lately. We actually have some pretty funny conversations each day. This one I realize may be a little inappropriate to appear in the same post as church stuff, but that’s how I roll. I don’t even know why I think it is funny. It’s probably one of those “had to be there” funny moments. I wish I could remember all of our conversations to write down by the end of the day, but I forget.
Max: “Mom? Where is my crotch?”
Me: “Your crotch? What’s a crotch?” (at this point I am wondering how in the world he knows that word…)
Max: “You know! My crotch. For my feet”
Me: “Ohhhh your CROCKS!’
Max: “Ya mommy”

According to my iPhone
I always take pictures with my phone and then completely forget about them for months. So here is life according to my iPhone… on instagram. I just discovered the instagram app on my phone and boy is it fun! I don’t think I’ll take a regular picture on my phone ever again. This first one is my lil’ munchkins at the store. The rest of the pictures are me and the boys playing with my camera phone.

Stop it
I cannot even stand how freaking cute this little boy is. I think it is hilarious that Kyler gave me about a million different facial expressions in about 5 minutes, and of course I needed to post all of them. LOVE him!
Family Pictures
My wonderful and oh so talented friend Christa took our family pictures a few weeks ago and I love them! Here are a few of my favs. You can see more of her fabulous work at Christa Elyce Photography!

Goodbye Summer, Goodbye Pool
This summer can be described in one word. HOT! Because of the almost unbearable heat we hit up the pool a lot and had a blast! Although I have to admit it was always super stressful for me trying to manage both the boys there and keep them both ALIVE. Kyler absolutely refused to stay in any sort of floatation device so he was the more difficult one. Max was really good to keep his water wings on, but also still required constant supervision. So ya… super fun but also stressful. These are the only pictures I took all summer long of us swimming. The first 2 are at the pool and the other two are the boys enjoying chocolate chick-fil-a shakes after the pool. Something we did a lot. More than I care to admit…
