Welcome Home Nate!

We were able to go home to Utah earlier this month for my brother Nate’s homecoming from the Indianapolis, Indiana mission.  It was so much fun to see him again and for him to meet Max!  Here are some pictures at the airport…

Max LOVES his sunglasses!  He thought they were so much fun and wore them everywhere.

Jeremy’s Grandmother came into town while we were there and it was so fun to see her.  She had seen Max when he was just a week old at our Houston airport.  It was fun for her to see how much he’s grown since then!

My lil' buckeroo's nursery

I've been tagged by Karissa to post the 6th picture of my 6th file. Since it was a picture of Max's room, I decided to post all of them. I've had a few friends remind me that I never posted pictures of Max's nursery. So here they are.... better late than never.

You can't really tell but that main wall is burlap tacked on with liquid starch and upholstery tacks. It was WAY more work than it was worth and I'm pretty sure Jeremy wanted to kill me by the end of it! It took us forever but I really love how it turned out.

I actually got the bedding all from different places which made me nervous but it came together so good.

The mirror says "Howdy" and the barrel is his hamper

My talented mom made this teepee along with the bed skirt and curtain. We used old western style fabric I found on line and I absolutely LOVE how everything turned out!

The boots on the shelf were Jeremy's when he was little. I am so glad his mom saved them. They look really cute in Max's room and when he is a little older he can wear them. I laughed so hard when his mom mailed them to me because they still had dirt clods stuck on the bottoms:)

Above his door.

Oh the things we do for a laugh....

Camping at Double Lakes

This weekend we took Max on his first camping trip. He was a trooper! The weather was beautiful...a little chilly in the night/early morning but other than that it was awesome. Max was really good until about a few hours before we were originally going to leave. He decided he was cold and had had enough so we left a few hours earlier than planned. But other than that he loved his first camping trip! There were so many little kids running around that he was completely occupied the whole time lol.

At about six in the morning I put him in our bed because I didn't want him to be cold. He loved that. He just kept staring at the ceiling of the tent in awe.

I love this picture. He's my lil' munchkin:)

Max and his bff Noah in their matching beanies.

Maxs LOVES my friend Kelsey!

Max and Noah chillin' in their bouncers while cute little Landon giving us his cheeser smile:)

My friend Deanna and I went shopping. Her little Chloe is 3 weeks older than Max and sooo cute!

"What is this thing you call a stroller?"

Rice cereal...Mmmmm!

Twinners at church

He was feeling a little under the weather last week. Put this little boy by a TV and he is perfectly content.

I put him in his bumbo to get some things done. Now I know why he was being so good.
What is it about little boys in their church clothes that makes us girls melt?
