Max and his BFF Noah. They have so much fun when they get together!
Going for bike rides…
And this one is just because I thought it was cute. I looked out the window yesterday and saw this. Love my boys!

So I knew when I did Max’s 18 month post I was forgetting things. Here are some things I missed….
Meet Bobby. Bobby is Max’s softie that he sleeps with every night. When it is time for him to go to sleep he calls out “Bobby?” “Bobby?” Like it is a real person he is looking for. When he finds it he is excited and says “Bobby!” Like he has been lost and now he is found. Then he gives him a kiss.
Max going to nursery! YAY! He went in 2 weeks ago for the first time. He cried the first half and Jeremy sat with him the second half. Hopefully he will learn to like nursery quickly. I know it’s an adjustment for most children.
Max calls me “Mommy” again. For a while he decided I was “Mom” and that made me sad. I love how he calls me mommy and I hope he never stops.
Max and I go on a dp run to Mc Donald’s practically every day. I can’t help it… they are $1 and it makes me happy. Well, apparently I do it too much because Max now yells “Dain doo” (thank you) as they hand me my drink. So funny!
Anytime anyone goes up the stairs he yells “Nigh Nigh!”
His favorite food is still Mac and Cheese.
He has started getting into cars. He likes playing with them and he loves pointing them out when we are outside. We got him this cars couch and he LOVES it! These first two were taken on his first day of nursery.
And these two are just because I think they are cute. He is a true boy. He loves taking his shirt off and also running outside barefoot. He would probably run around naked if I let him. We have so much fun with him!
We only did this with Max once or twice during church so we were both pretty surprised to see him start doing it the second we turned on conference.
Watch it on YouTube to watch it in HD…and yes, we’re that cool.
Max is 18 months old today! I really can’t believe how fast time has gone. Some funny things about Maxeroo……
He has two favorite shows: Ni Hao Kai-lan and Backyardigans. When I tell him I am putting one of those on for him to watch, he finds his huge dog, grabs like 3 blankets, and sits in this little U shaped cushion. This ritual used to include his binkie, but we only give him one to sleep now. I don’t think we will totally get rid of it until after Max is adjusted to his new baby brother.
He loves putting things in my pots. And in my drawers. And pulling stuff out of cupboards to move to different cupboards. It always makes me laugh when I find things like this:
When he sleeps he requires his binkie, white blanket, blue blanket, and softy. I say requires because if one of them is missing he will notice.
He learned to stack blocks instead of just knocking them over as quickly as I can build them.
I know there are many other things he does now that I am forgetting to talk about. But I have MAJOR pregnancy brain. So this will have to do. We love our Maxeroo so much! He has such a sweet spirit. He is getting more mischievous and he makes me laugh every single day.
This Easter was such a wonderful day. Max started it off nice by sleeping in till 10! We enjoyed listening to conference and remembering our Savior. Max loved the choir and would come running in to conduct every time he heard a song start. It was super cute!
The Easter bunny hid eggs in our backyard during naptime. Max was excited just to see the bright plastic eggs. Then when he realized there were jellybeans in them he was ecstatic. He also received a soft bunny and a lawn mower that blows bubbles.
He kept giving the bunny kisses all day…

Enjoying his jelly beans. Every time he opened an egg he would squeal and flash us the biggest smile, showing us his blue teeth, lips, tongue and fingers. Priceless!
A few weeks ago Max and I were at the park. Of course he made a mad dash for the only mud puddle in the entire park. I seriously didn’t even see this little puddle until it was too late! Max fell hard and in a very weird position. All day long after that he was crying and refusing to walk and so I took him to get it looked at. The pediatrician sent us straight to get X-Rays just to make sure nothing was broken. I am happy to report everything was fine! No broken bones thankfully. In fact, Max started acting all happy while we were waiting for the Dr. to come back with the X-Rays…just to make me look stupid:) I’m just joking. But doesn’t it always seem like they act sick until you take them to the doctor and they seem fine?
I couldn’t resist putting up his cute little X-rays. He is such a chubster!![]()
Feeding Daddy grapes while we were waiting for our results.
March is so much fun in Houston because the rodeo continues practically all month long! It is fun to watch all the different events and each evening after it is over there is a concert. Last week I went to the Black Eyed Peas concert with my equally preggo friend Diana. Lets just say we were sporting some very large lady lumps:) We had a blast though!
