February Photo Dump/Sending a Mixed Message

Today I had a conversation with Jeremy as he was putting pictures onto the computer.  He said that I send our boys mixed messages because I am constantly taking pictures of them doing naughty things.  I started to defend myself and then he showed me the pictures in the February folder.  I may need to rethink my parenting…

Example 1:  My little drink thief on the table

Example 2:  Boys drenched after spitting water all over each other.  Only boys think this is funny.  I rewarded them with Cheetos apparently.

Example 3:  Caught eating food on the carpet, watching cartoons.  And again they are eating Cheetos.  I promise I do feed them other foods.

Example 4:  Pouting in time out.  He was actually being sassy while in time out.  It’s just too darn funny coming out of a one year old.

Example 5:  Eating chocolate from Mommy’s purse.

Example 6:  Torturing the cat

Okay Jeremy.  I see your point.

Here’s the rest of February:

January Photo dump

I’m way behind on posting photos so I’m going do to a January, February and March photo dump.  Lucky you.  I’m pretty sure less than five people actually read this blog so I don’t think I’m putting too many people out.  But of course I think my boys are so darling that I feel the need to post hundreds of pictures of them doing absolutely nothing but being little boys.  Love them so much.

So January weather in Texas is a trip.  One day we are wearing coats and hats, and the next we are in short sleeves running around outside. But we had a fun month and played hard outside.

Also, I am officially the worst Mom ever for buying this ridiculously dorky beanie lined with fur for Max.  I ordered it from Gap and when it came I knew instantly that I wanted to return it.  It has a cute bright pattern, but that fur is crazy!  However, Max loved it SO much and I was too lazy to return it.  But in my defense, I only let him wear it in our backyard.  Now I can’t stop myself from laughing every time I see these first pictures of him in his fur beanie.  He really loves this hat so much.  I feel like these pictures will somehow resurface in the future and embarrass him.

Road Trip!

Last week Kendall came to visit!  By herself.  With no children.  And we went to San Marcos for the weekend.  Holy amazing!  We had soooo much fun on our little weekend getaway.  Lot’s of shopping at the outlets, good eating, yummy fudge and kettle corn, diet dp for me, diet cherry coke for her, sleeping in TWO days in a row, and no kids.  It was Heavenly.  And the fun didn’t stop there.  She got to come back to Houston with me for a couple more days and we got to get pedicures, go to a movie in the middle of the day (again with no kids), and eat out.  Talk about a wonderful week.  And now she is back in Utah and I am missing the crap out of her.  But I am so thankful we have such awesome husbands who understand our need to play.  And shop.
